We are a no kill sanctuary that takes in dogs and cats that need a stable, secure environment.  This means we keep them until the right home comes along, for as long that takes to find.  And we make sure that if the home we place them in cannot keep them for any reason, they will be returned to us and we will continue searching for that forever home.

We have 2 Facilities and 10 foster homes that make it possible for us to place about 600 dogs and cats a year and house about 100 on any given day.  Our costs exceed $150,000 for facility costs & vet bills per year.  

In the past grant money has been more available to local groups like us, but lately the awards are getting smaller and we're competing with very large groups who have budgets in the millions, and leadership with salaries in the 6 figures.
