Oatlands Inc

Oatlands is located just south of the town of Leesburg, Virginia, and has been open to the public since 1965. The mansion dates from 1804, and the outbuildings date from 1810-1903 with the majority built around 1820.  Our 4 acres of formal gardens are considered some of the finest in the country. 

Donations from generations of supporters have kept our doors open.  We offer daily tours featuring the history of the buildings, grounds and the people who lived here.  We host school and scouting field trips, children's summer camps, garden clubs, and other community groups.  Oatlands is a microcosm of Virginia and US History and we are proud to remain a public resource.
