  • Do students in our community still witness and experience bullying? Are they concerned about school safety?
  • Are families and neighbors still faced with festering conflicts and impending costly court cases?
  • Are residents still targets of discrimination, violent hate crimes, or even gang activity?
  • Do members of our diverse local population still feel unheard and unsure of whom to go to for help in their communities?

The answer is YES.

There continue to be many people who need our help to address the variety of human relations challenges they face each day. And we are here to help. But we need your help, too.

Our vision is clear: only by working together can we create an Orange County that promotes respect, empowers diverse communities, resolves conflict respectfully and advocates equal justice.  Can you picture it?

Imagine a world without bias and prejudice.

A place where people resolved conflict peaceably.

The type of place where silenced voices were heard and empowered.

A community where diverse leadership was the norm.

A world that uplifted respect and understanding, in place of division and bias.

We answer the needs and calls of our community. Over the last two years, we have been able to positively impact the lives of over 100,000 students, families, educators and residents across Orange County. We need your help to continue to provide important services and programs to those who need us most.

Our small, yet expert and passionate team of 18 employees is committed to providing top tier programs to address issues of prejudice, discrimination and conflict in Orange County through effective programming, like our BRIDGES Safe & Respectful Schools Program, Police/Community Reconciliation Program and dialogues, Hate Crime Education, Dispute Resolution Program, Restorative Justice Initiatives and Community Building Programs.

At OC Human Relations, we target some of the most critical issues that prevent students from learning:  bullying, violence, prejudice and more. Our BRIDGES Safe & Respectful Schools Program is committed to improving school climate by partnering students, families and educators together.

Thanks to generosity from people like you, in the last school year, our BRIDGES Program was able to serve 22,543 students in Orange County.  We have been able to impact the lives of students like Atziri and Mahealani, who say OC Human Relations has changed their lives.
