A nonprofit organization

Since 1942, the volunteer, membership supported Ocmulgee Mounds Association (OMA) has been the official nonprofit partner of Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park providing the resources to support their cultural, educational & interpretive programs, events and exhibits.

OMA support ranges from cultural programming, interpretive visual aids, pottery programs, and rack cards to funding the annual Lantern Light Tours held during Macon's Cherry Blossom Festival, the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration held every 3rd weekend in September,  & Every Kid Outdoors field trips.

Additional support and collaborative efforts include the river cane restoration project, the park sign at the Emery Hwy entrance, the Outdoor Classroom, and the onsite canoe build and permanent exhibit.

Our goal is to make investments for long-term, meaningful impact. Please consider joining us to help us reach those goals.

We invite you to show your support for Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park by making a donation directly to the Ocmulgee Mounds Association. Your tax deductible donations go a long way in providing support for the various programs OMNHP has to offer.
