Off The Floor Pittsburgh

The Mission of Off The Floor Pittsburgh - the furniture bank of southwest pa is y reduce the pain and indignity of extreme poverty in the Greater Pittsburgh Region by recycling used furniture in good condition and delivering it to families in deepest need.

In the past three years our services have tripled and we continue to see ever increasing requests for assistance. Presently we are in need of additional support to expand operations. Specifically we need to secure a new larger warehouse space or additional warehouse space as we have outgrown our current location and cannot accommodate the increased donations of furniture we are being offered. This larger space would afford us the opportunity to increase inventory of good furniture and assist more families. We also have a significant need for more volunteers to serve in all administrative and operations positions.
