The Ogden Nature Center is a beautiful 152 acre nature preserve and nature education center located in the heart of Ogden. Much loved for 41 years by an appreciative community, the Center is mainly funded by donations and grants! We also have a 23 acre preserve on North Mountain Road nestled below the cliffs and features beautiful wooded trails and access to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

Every year thousands of visitors participate in educational programs, community events, or come to simply wander the trails and connect with nature. One of the Nature Center's main attractions is a live exhibit of birds of prey and other animals native to Utah. Each year, over 47,000 people benefit from all the activities the Ogden Nature Center has to offer.

Click on the bottom of the page on "See More Fundraisers" to read about how you can help with our new eagle enclosures, outreach programs, and existing mews.

Onsite education programs are the focus of the Ogden Nature Center’s efforts. These place-based programs get children outside learning and having fun, while meeting formal education goals. Our programs expose children and adults to a wide range of scientific topics -- from animal tracks to the effects of habitat fragmentation.  For those that can't visit the Nature Center, we have GREAT outreach programs, which often include our live birds of prey and other critters!

Our nature education programs are in higher demand than ever, and donations help to make sure they are affordable for all. Please donate today and show your support of quality environmental education and this beautiful nature preserve. THANKS!
