The road can be forboding for people struggling to reenter mainstream society after years of displacement due to military service, incarceration, substance dependency and/or homelessness. Countless questions obscure their path; Where do I go next? How do I get started? Where can I find guidance and support? Where can I find others that I can relate to?

Since 1996, these questions, and more, have been answered for thousands of clients of Old Pueblo Community Services. For an OPCS alumni, "Graduation Day" can mean living without drugs and alcohol, a new job and a first paycheck, a new support system, getting back together with family, overcoming challenges, living life with courage, helping someone else through a hard time, finding a new home, living in balance, making better decisions, being accountable and responsible - Building a Future - One Step at a Time!

As Dr. Seuss once put it:

“Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.  And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.

Oh, the Places You'll Go!”

Where does one go to find a new path to follow?  Old Pueblo Community Services, that’s where!
