Olney Volunteer Fire Department (OVFD) was established in Olney, TX in 1912. It currently consists of 29 volunteers from the Olney community who serve the community by working automobile accidents, structure fires, grass fires, storm watching, assisting Olney EMS and Police Department, and various other incidences. They also donate their time to show support to the community by participating in community events such as school send offs, parades, and National Night Out.
