About Us

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is one of Utah’s first Catholic schools dating back to 1920 as Judge Memorial Grade School in urban Salt Lake City.  For more than 90 years, we have been extremely successful at creating a Catholic Christian learning environment in which students in grades K - 8 grow in academic knowledge and the realization of God working in their lives.

Excellence In Education

Our smaller class sizes allow for ample opportunities for individual attention and personal growth.  Highly experienced, committed educators teach core academic subjects of language arts, math, science, social studies, and religion.  Instruction is designed to provide a solid foundation in grade level skills, the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, and an education in modern technology, mass media and computer literacy. Students also receive instruction in Spanish, Art and Physical Education.  We are known for our Accelerated Math Program and offer a new Engineering Program. Our students consistently place into honors classes at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, which is located right next-door.

We are proud to be known as the school “where everybody is somebody”.  We have twice been honored with the Martin Luther King Jr. Award for ethnic diversity. Our student population is comprised of many cultures, all socio-economic backgrounds, and representatives of many faith traditions.
