One Nation Walking Together

One Nation Walking Together (ONWT) is a Colorado Springs-based 501(c) 3 non-profit striving to make a positive impact in the lives of American Indians/Alaska Natives (AI/AN) experiencing crisis situations in Colorado. At its core, ONWT’s mission is fundamentally about people helping people and embodies the notion that one by one we can make a difference.   

ONWT is a resource and referral agency providing a manifold of Native-specific, culturally appropriate programs, services, and crisis interventions for American Indian and Alaska Natives, who disproportionately experience greater levels of poverty and health issues, hunger, homelessness, and unemployment than any other US demographic. ONWT helps transition individuals and families out of crisis and into healthy, sustainable situations in the Pikes Peak Region. The work ONWT does helps to alleviate crisis situations, but more importantly, generates hope and compassion, and creates brighter outcomes today and tomorrow for the most marginalized people and communities in the U.S.
