At One Step Beyond, our mission is to provide responsive, progressive, and dynamic programs to empower individuals with Intellectual Disability to realize their dreams of optimal independence, meaningful employment, significant social relationships, and full participation in our community.

"10 years ago we started One Step Beyond so that our daughter with Down Syndrome, Dylan, could have a chance for all the opportunities the rest of us take for granted -- independence, work, involvement in the community, and most importantly, friends. We have been joined in this mission by so many families that now One Step Beyond is a dream come true for Dylan and so many others.
