One Ball One Village Inc

One Ball One Village currently has 26 water systems operating in Haiti, Tanzania, Dominican Republic and Honduras.  We are currently seeking donations to help fund the completion of a school and water project in Raranya, Tanzania with our local partner, Pastor Timothy Wambura and World Outreach Mission Church.

Raranya village has 4,950 people with no reliable water source. The women of Raranya spend up to 4 hours each day walking to and from the nearest water source, a small badly contaminated stream, which is shared with wild animals such as hyenas, cows, goats, sheep and donkeys.  We are seeking donations to provide the Raranya community a clean water solution that will include a borehole well, a hand pump, a generator and a water purification system and a holding tank. We are anticipating the project to cost approximately $15,000.

With the help of OBOV, the school, The Visionary Leadership Seminary, is scheduled to open with limited enrollment of 100 students in October 2014. Priority for admission is given to orphans first and then marginalized children next. The vision for the school is to provide the next generation of leaders with Christian values prepared to help change the world.
