Oparc

Established in 1950, OPARC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves more than 800 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at 8 locations in San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties.  OPARC’s mission is to enable people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.  We accomplish our mission by offering a wide variety of services and programs including employment, community integration, behavior management support, basic academic instruction, leisure/recreation activities, speech pathology services, multi-sensory experiences, and assistance with the activities of daily living.  As a result, adults with developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome, epilepsy, autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, have opportunities for paid employment, community integration, and social interaction. More than half of our participants hold full- or part-time jobs, enhancing community productivity and increasing self-esteem in our participants.
