Operation Bandanas For Bragg

What began in November, 2006, by providing my own son and a few of his battle buddies with five Psalm 91 bandanas while deployed, turned into a nationwide ministry of support and encouragement to our armed forces. The Psalm 91 bandanas are being sent to our servicemen and women who are in training preparing for whatever they are called to do;deployed all over the globe to ensure safety and freedom here and abroad;and to military hospitals where many are recovering from wounds inflicted upon them while serving. Our gifts of Psalm 91 bandanas are a simple reminder to them that they are loved, appreciated, and remembered. Because of the generosity from donors all over the U.S. we have provided approximately 260,000 Psalm 91 bandanas to our armed forces.

What better way to "tell our story" than by sharing personal emails from the recipients of our gifts of Psalm 91 bandanas.

"Once word got out that we had Psalm 91 bandanas, we ran out immediately. Soldiers wear them under their helmets to keep sweat out of their eyes while on mission, and always ask specifically for the Psalm bandana. We would be forever grateful to get more."

"I am a chaplain that recently deployed to Kuwait. It is an extremely hot and harsh environment here and I started handing out Psalm 91 bandanas. Turns out that it has become a very popular item among our soldiers, who are specifically asking for it. How can we order more? Oftentimes it's the simple things that made a big difference, esecially when it's very practical for the environment we're in."

Nine years into this ministry and they are still a very popular item and are greatly appreciated when received!
