Operation Parent

Operation Parent is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing parents and caregivers with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to navigate the challenges of raising healthy and resilient children. Our mission is to educate and empower parents and caregivers to have meaningful conversations with their kids by providing the latest information about technology, mental health, substances, and more. Our organization offers a range of comprehensive programs and services designed to address the evolving needs of parents and caregivers of school-aged children and teens. 

Programs include the following:

Parent Handbooks: We develop and distribute educational Parent Handbooks that foster healthy communication between parents and their children. They are available in both English and Spanish and emphasize active listening, empathy, and open dialogue, helping parents bridge the generation gap. Our parent handbooks cover today's 25 trending topics that parents will face in their parenting journey. Our handbooks are self-published, evidence-based, visually appealing, and contain relevant content for any parent or caregiver in today's society. 

Webinars: We offer FREE webinars are for parents and professionals to learn from leading experts like therapists, doctors, DEA agents, and researchers. Topics mirror those in our handbooks, including but not limited to vaping, bullying, social media, substances, mental health, and more. All of our past webinars are available on demand in our webinar library so that anyone can can get factual information and expert advice.

Prevention Program: TNT (Trends 'n' Training) is an engaging and memorable drug prevention event that can be hosted by schools, drug-free coalitions, health departments, or other community organizations. Building an event from the ground up is a daunting task, and Operation Parent wants to help!  We created a TNT Toolkit that gives provides step-by-step instructions, dynamic branding, and powerful promotional tools to throw a successful and exciting prevention event!
