Opportunity Networks

A nonprofit organization

If you are not familiar with Opportunity Networks let us first share with you a little about our organization. As our mission statement reads, we promote and advocate for the autonomy of individuals with cognitive and acquired disabilities. We do that through personal competency development and increased independence. We are committed to the ideal of meaningful employment for all who desire it, working with our program participants towards individual growth and fulfillment, eliminating barriers to health, well-being, and community participation. We believe each individual is entitled to the highest quality of life especially given the daily challenges they face, which is promoted through personal interests and individual achievement.

As we move forward in these very turbulent times, our focus remains on providing not only employment opportunities, but also life skill activities for individuals with all levels of disability. We focus on the whole person, striving to allow each individual to reach their fullest potential. We are uniquely different in that we create programs based on the interests, strengths, and goals of each program participant. We endeavor to bring out the best qualities of these individuals so that they can participate in their community in a meaningful way. We are also different from similar organizations in that we have no residential component. This allows us to be laser-focused on providing the very best day programming possible given the current state of affairs at a time when no one knows what the future or even the day will bring.

Our organization provides services to over 100 adults in our day program ranging in age from 18 to 75, who come from twenty-four towns scattered across southern New Hampshire. From Concord to Nashua and Peterborough to Greenland families entrust their loves to us daily.  Additionally, we serve roughly 67 unduplicated adults in our Vocational Rehabilitation program.  We are dedicated to creating innovative programs that broaden the horizons of our program participants. Our clubs and classes with an emphasis on community engagement, health and wellness, speech and language, employment, and volunteer opportunities give us a progressive advantage in our field. We take pride in the work we are doing and the services we provide, but the real measure of our success is when individuals display talents that even they were unaware of.

Now more than ever Opportunity Networks need your help to fill the gaps that canceled fundraisers and lost revenues have created. We need your help to reach our goal of raising $3,000 during #NHGIVES. These funds will help us to continue to support and develop dynamic and innovative programs not paid for by Medicaid that keep program participants active and engaged.

Please give if you can and show your support for Opportunity Networks by spreading the word about this incredible giving opportunity. #TOGETHERWEGIVE
