To truly know Oregon Coast Community College, you need to have the experience of watching a group of nursing students learn how to take a patient’s vital signs or see the look on a student’s face when they master a new section of the GED exam. You need to hear our Aquarium Science students talk about the animals they’ve cared for. You need to witness how masterfully our music professor, Mary Lee Scoville, directs her choir students as they develop their individual voices into a seamless harmony.

A visit to any of our OCCC campuses will reaffirm the message we work so diligently to spread through the community - that our college is responding to the diverse needs of Lincoln County by creating educational support and pathways to success.

One of the reasons that our college is so successful is because of the incredible support that community members like you provide by donating to the OCCC Foundation.  In 2014, the Foundation was able to:

• Present two free community lectures on timely and inspiring topics.
• Create a bridge to keep OCCC students, struggling financially,  in class and pursuing their degree.
• Provide new computers and books for student use in the tutoring center and throughout the college.
• Send an Aquarium Science student to North Carolina to attend a renowned industry conference.

Your gift, of any size, to the Annual Giving Campaign helps make all of the above and more possible. Additionally, the AGC provides the funds necessary to continually support OCCC programs and facilities and to ensure the OCCC Foundation is financially solid in perpetuity.
