We all know how having excellent schools adds to the vitality of the Osceola community. They are a source of pride, a draw for new businesses and residents, and, for many, a center of social life. Great schools benefit all of us, not just those who have children enrolled in school. They educate the students who will become Osceola’s future leaders, community members, business owners, employees, and parents. We all want our students to receive the best education we can provide.

Providing opportunities for students is the core of Osceola Education Foundation’s mission: to promote and enhance student achievement and invest in educational excellence in the Osceola School District. The OEF accomplishes this by generating independent funding for innovative educational projects and initiatives that fall outside the core budget.

We seek to fulfill our mission by focusing support on the following objectives:

• Support outstanding academic achievement and provide enhanced learning opportunities to students.
• Increase local business, civic, community and alumni involvement within the schools of the district.
• Recognize outstanding achievement by students, teachers and support staff.
• Support creative and innovative educational programs.
• Promote and maintain use of new technologies in teaching and learning.
• Promote positive character traits.
