Since 1999 Our Lady's Pantry has been providing groceries  to the poor and underserved in Wimauma, Sun City and Balm in Hillsborough County, FL.

We began serving bags of groceries to twenty five families. That number has grown, as we now have over 1,000 families registered to receive food. And we now provide a lage box of groceries (40-50 pounds), fresh produce and frozen meat to 230-250 families evry Saturday.

The organization was begun by volunteers from our church responding to critical circumstances of hungry families needing help. There are no paid employees. Volunteer do all the work.

Those benefitting from our program are migrant worker families (75%), poor old (20%) and homeless and battered women (5%). A large percentage of the migrant families consist of children under 12.

The goal of Our Lady's Pantry is to provide food and sustenance to the underserved, the poor in our community and those in need of relief for groceries until they are back on their feet.

Without our Pantry the food needs of our families would either go unmet or they would endure extreme hardship in obtaining food.We know that providing these groceries, we give our families the nutrition and hope to carry on.
