Skills which are adaptable and transferable to other employment opportunities in customer service, public and private gardens, floral retail shops, golf courses, parks, local, state and federal positions and urban farming. Skills such as, planning, scheduling, measuring, mowing, edging, pruning, soil amending, plant and irrigation installation and small motor repair, safety, equipment and hand tool use and maintenance, customer relations, installation and maintenance of annuals, perennials, shrubs, ground cover, bulbs and trees. Integral to the training are social and life skills.
