You've given me the opportunity to do things I'd only ever dreamed of doing. For 10 days I lived in the Sierra Nevada with six other youth, carried all my necessities on my back, climbed to heights I'd never thought I could reach, hiked farther than I thought my feet could ever carry me, enjoyed mountaintop views that previously only existed in my fantasies, and found strength, courage, and determination I never knew I possessed.

In our charitable outreach, we target low-income, traditionally excluded populations, providing two in three of our students a full or partial scholarship to participate in our programs. With the help of top-notch instructors, board members and donors like you, we have engaged more than 6,000 students since 2008 in partnership with schools and nonprofits such as Mission and Lincoln High Schools, Visitation Valley Middle School, Summer Search, and Larkin Street Youth Services. We have also provided partial and full scholarships to more than one third of the students on our High Sierra open enrollment courses.
