Our hearts are right here in the Ozarks and our name reflects what we do!  Driving dogs to locations that have available space and loving adopters.  Whether it's Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin or even New York our pets have their bags packed and are ready for their Freedom Ride.  In 2023 we have already assisted in the movement of 217 and last year we transported 831.  We do this with a minimal budget from donations where we supply food to our fosters, provide necessary medical care in advance of transport and often spay or neuter mothers and fathers that are being kept by their owners. Our animals come from our local shelters that are overcrowded, other are found abandoned along our roadways or parks and yet others are surrendered due to changing living circumstances. Using our more than 30 years of animal advocacy, medical knowledge and rescue experience, we have been able to create a network of receiving partners in many states.  Our job is transport them there and we drive.....alot.  In the past 18 months a van that was donated for this purpose has logged more than 80,000 and many of our volunteers are adding thousands more miles onto their personal vehicles.

But driving dogs isn't all we do.  Thru our network of givers, we have gathered and donated thousands of pounds of food to financial challenged families which has allowed them to keep their pets out of already crowded shelters.  In December 2022 we organized the first mash style spay neuter clinic in McDonald County next to Benton County.  That area is a veterinary desert with no access to care with an uncontrolled dog population.  Gathering borrowed equipment we need our van for this activity as well.  We have two more clinics at the same location in May 2023.

Our work is done by a small but powerful group of dedicated individuals who drive, foster and advocate for our communities animals.  In order for us to continue this work, we are asking your support to help us purchase another good quality, used vehicle similar to the Chrysler Voyager we now have. It has proven it's worthy of our cause, having transported as many as 36 dogs in one trip!

So today, on NWA Gives Day, we ask your kind consideration for a donation towards this van.  We have been good stewards of other donations and we have a little more than $10,000 already saved for this purchase.  Will you help us save even more animals?  We know we can do it with your help!
