Ozark Natural Science Center’s mission is to enhance the understanding, appreciation and stewardship of the Ozark natural environment.
Located in the heart of the Ozarks, ONSC hosts school programs, provides environmental education to all ages, and offers facility rentals.
ONSC's campus includes three lodges, the Ewing Event Center, the Smith Education Building, guest housing, faculty housing, the Stewart Springfield Memorial Outdoor Classroom, an observation deck, and almost eight miles of maintained hiking trails.
ONSC’s school programs offer hands-on, experiential field science opportunities to 4th-8th graders from Northwest Arkansas and beyond. ONSC offers a unique, immersion-based approach to learning about nature and the natural sciences. ONSC lessons, classes, and hike topics correlate with national and state science learning standards and provide in-depth education in biology, ecology, geology, and social studies – all while students have fun hiking and experiencing nature.
ONSC also offers summer camps, public programs, workshops, events, and facility rentals for weddings and retreats. Learn more about us at www.onsc.us
