P F Bresee Foundation

Our vision is to see the Central LA community transformed by character driven, college educated Bresee alumni.

Our programs aim to empower youth to reach thier full potential. The afterschool program runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM. We offer tutoring, creative workshops, college access programming, sports, and family services to middle and high school aged youth. 

Our program has been in the Mid-Wishire/Koreatown area for over 20 years, and 40% of our staff are alums who have returned to give back. 

We are also a City of Los Angeles GRYD Service Provider, meaning we work to provide youth at-risk for gang involvement with the support they need to choose an alternate path. Our GRYD students recieve free family therapy, case management, and youth activities.

This year, we expanded our college access programming, now offering free college advising, SAT Prep, college tours, scholarship and application help to over 100 youth.

Our film festival serves to give our youth a place to speak out about the issues in their community, and we are currently fundraising for this year's grand prize!
