Parenting With Purpose

Who We Are

Parenting with Purpose serves young moms (ages 13-23) through Mentoring, Equip (life Skills) classes, Mommy & Me nights, and Mom Life groups. We believe change comes through relationship and we strive to make sure every mom and child feels seen, heard and known.

• Mentor Moms.  A young mom is paired with a Mentor Mom. The mentor is a caring, experienced mom who will walk alongside her mentee every step of the way. She helps her set goals in several areas, such as her parenting, relationships, education, finances, and decision-making. 
• Equip Classes.  An expert instructor teaches vital life skills including topics like Healthy Parenting, Cooking & Nutrition, Budgeting, How to Stretch a Dollar, Career Planning, Health & Wellness, Making Smart Relationship Choices and more.
• Mommy & Me Night.  Young moms learn about parenting and child development through fun activities with their kids. This provides community and connection for young moms who are often isolated due to their circumstances
• Mom Life Groups.  Small groups (4 to 8 moms) get together regularly to talk about the highs and lows of mom life, learn from each other, and do life together.

To equip young moms to make healthy decisions about parenting, relationships, and their future by providing one-on-one mentoring, life skills teaching, and supportive community.

We serve young moms in Clark, Floyd, and Harrison counties of Indiana.
