Planned Parenthood's mission is to ensure the right and ability of all individuals to manage their sexual and reproductive health by providing health services, education, and advocacy. We seek a world in which all children are wanted and cared for, all individuals have equal rights and dignity, sexuality is expressed with honesty, equality, and responsibility, and the decision to bear children is private and voluntary.

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (PPGC) exists because we care passionately about helping people lead healthier lives. We are a two-state affiliate operating two health centers in Louisiana - one in New Orleans and one in Baton Rouge - and six health centers in Texas.

Visits include wellness exams, birth control information and services, STI screenings and treatment, cancer screenings, and more. We launched two syphilis treatments in both our Louisiana centers. Last year alone, Planned Parenthood provided nearly $3 million in discounted healthcare services to patients in our affiliate. This is made possible by generous donors like you. We're proud to offer high-quality, compassionate care to our community members in Louisiana, regardless of income or zip code.

Our professional health educators at Planned Parenthood provide information that is scientifically accurate and age-appropriate for youth and parents so that Louisianans can be healthy and informed when it comes to making decisions about sexual health.
