Pacific Coast Conservation Alliance

A nonprofit organization

$175 raised by 6 donors

We contribute to making the Earth a better place to live by preserving lands - especially by establishing wild land preserves and conservation easements - and by conducting basic natural history research, especially of the more common species before they experience significant declines.

Taking this pro-active strategy allows us to maximize the value of each dollar spent while also allowing us to conduct field research (specifically on our specialties: birds, bats, and toads) at the highest benefit/cost ratio.

We are doubly intent on getting our message and findings out to the public, which we do via school programs, conferences and our own FM radio station.

See our most recent project: a BatWeek event to build bat boxes, which we accomplised in partnership with our local Boys & Girls Club:

We hope our actions and philosophy serve as models for other non-profits and conservation groups.
