Pacific Stroke Association (PSA) has been the premier organization in Silicon Valley focusing on community stroke education as well as post-stroke programs and services for stroke survivors and caregivers for more than 18 years.
Every year, more than 795,000 people have a stroke in the United States. Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability in the United States. What many people don’t know is that stroke is PREVENTABLE and TREATABLE. To learn more, please watch the PSA stroke education video at http://pacificstrokeassociation.org/index.php/programs-services/community-education.
Your donation of any amount supports programs for the 600+ stroke survivors and their caregivers we serve annually in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
Here are specific ways that your dollars can help:
· $100 helps 20 stroke survivors receive a FREE copy of PSA’s invaluable Resource Directory, a comprehensive resource for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
· $200 allows PSA to offer 10-week Aphasia Communications Groups, provided in partnership with the Aphasia Center of California.
· $500 provides 2500 Stroke postcards for distribution in the communities we serve.
With your help, we can reduce the incidence of stroke, and alleviate its effects on stroke survivors. Our friends, family, and community members can continue to lead healthy and productive lives.
We appreciate your kind support!
