Our service territory is vast; we encompass all of Coconino County, border areas of Sothern Utah, and some outlying areas of the Navajo Reservation. A large percentage of our patrons travel hundreds of miles to Page on a daily and weekly basis, for their medical, educational, grocery, and library needs. Even the federal government, recognizes Page as one of this country’s most isolated communities. These patrons incur a major expense in both time and gas to attend our Free programming and use our Free services. A sufficiently operating Page Public Library needs to be here for them.

Approximately 125,000 patrons use the services of the Page Public Library yearly. That’s an average of 48 patrons an hour which is only 15 seconds shy of 1 person per minute and we do this with a reduced staff that is approximately 70% funded by grants and our part-timers out numbers our full-timers 3:1. We pay for our Summer Reading Programs and after school activities with fundraisers, with a huge percent of our other programs and services funded by grants.

The Free services of the Page Public Library are utilized by thousands of people who cannot otherwise afford them. The sheer volume of library patrons who walk through our doors on a weekly basis is proof of that. As a focal point of the Page Community, the Page Public Library helps people to connect with others, seek enjoyment, and thrive. This Arizona Gives Day; please consider making a donation to the Page Public Library, with your support we can continue to make a difference.

On the behalf of our patrons and with our gratitude,

The Page Public Library Thanks You!
