Only PAHS could help!
"Only PAHS would help when my dog, out with me for a walk, discovered little Travis huddling under a bush. PAHS’ Animal Rescue Fund helped Travis get critical treatment for his broken jaw, infected teeth, and skin infection, as well as getting him neutered. Travis is enjoying a great life now!"
I am so grateful to PAHS!
"Chica is my rock. She has helped me get through many life challenges. When she experienced seizures, I was unable to afford treatment for her, so I am extremely grateful that I found Palo Alto Humane Society's PET Help program. The grant from PAHS provided a veterinary assessment, giving me peace of mind during a period of unemployment. Chica is doing great! I am so grateful for the support of PAHS!"
In 2015, Palo Alto Humane Society:
--Spent $115,000 to save lives and to prevent suffering and surrenders to animal shelters.
--Distributed life-saving grants to 190 animals.
--Provided spay/neuter surgery to 700 dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals.
With these fully donor-funded intervention programs, PAHS is a vital resource for animals who have no other source of rescue or care.
Please consider donating to PAHS through Silicon Valley Gives on May 3, 2016, or any day of the year. Donations are welcome by mail, phone, or on line.
Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit volunteer-supported organization. We work to help animals through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For over a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society. Our main programs include our voucher program which spays and neuters over 800 animals every year and our veterinary assistance and education programs. PAHS is not supported financially by the City of Palo Alto; rather, PAHS is completely dependent upon donations and grants.
