Pandemonium Aviaries is a conservation organization dedicated to saving threatened avian species through acquisition and breeding for a long-term goal of eventual release back into the wild. Among the 40 species under our care is the Victoria Crowned pigeon, the modern day Dodo. Pandemonium currently cares for the second largest flock of Victoria Crowned Pigeons, Blue Crowned Pigeons and houses the largest number of Green-Naped Pheasant Pigeons under conservation in the world.

While all 350 birds currently inhabiting the 54 aviaries are exotic, not all of them are the focus of our breeding program. Some came to Pandemonium as a result of being abandoned, disabled or mistreated. Despite no longer operating as a rescue we are dedicated to providing all our birds a life-long home, high quality diets and expert care.

While Pandemonium is making slow steady progress, there are still many steps between where we are today and where we need to be in order to successful repopulate natural habitats. Some of these steps include diversifying physical breeding facility locations, establishing partnerships and securing sustainable funding sources (such as an endowment).

Help these feather-tales turn into a fairytale by giving the birds of Pandemonium the happy ending they deserve. Donate today to help alter the reality of the modern day Dodo into a story of survival and prosperity.
