Paraclete Mission Group

Paraclete Mission Group comes alongside mission agencies, churches and church planting movements involved in expanding the Kingdom of God around the world. Paraclete associates are experienced missionaries and professionals who use their histories, skills and gifts to partner with individuals and organizations to help them be effective in life and ministry.

paráklētos – one who consoles or comforts, one who encourages or uplifts; hence refreshes, and/or one who intercedes on our behalf as an advocate.

Our Mission: To come alongside Christian leaders around the world.

Methodology:

• We serve as catalysts, without personal or institutional agendas.
• We stay only as long as needed and welcome.
• We view all our work as spiritual activity with eternal significance.
• We promote effective and Godly stewardship of resources as a model for business and ministry.
• We practice the accountability of planning and evaluating our work, and teach others to do the same.

We give priority to those Christian leaders:

• Who have limited resources
• Who work among unreached peoples
• Who work in the least reached places
• We work with churches, para-church organizations and kingdom-minded business and professional men and women.
• We seek out potential leaders, as well as those currently serving in leadership roles.

Where We Serve

We serve locally in Kitsap County, the region of the Pacific Northwest, and various other US locations. In addition, we serve and support Christian leaders serving in over 55 countries around the globe. 

In Kitsap County and the Pacific Northwest we currently support over 30 community leaders, pastors, and missionaries leading in or from Kitsap County were served in ongoing coaching, collaboration, and care. 

Some examples of our work in Kitsap County and the Pacific Northwest includes, but is not limited to: 

• Meeting with clients for one-on-one conversations meant to listen and encourage pastors, youth pastors, children's pastors, para-church directors (Youth for Christ, Young Life, etc.), missionaries and others in leadership positions who serve large groups of people living within Kitsap County. 
• Providing books, tools, software, online web help, and social media assistance to provide quality tools and resources at NO COST. 
• Making connections with mental health professionals for those in need of professional services. 
• Providing scholarships to help ministry leaders struggling with debt, medical coverage, resource needs, or emergency care needs. 
• Encouraging rest and relaxation by supporting clients with retreat scholarships.
