For over sixty years, PARCA, Partners & Advocates for Remarkable Children & Adults, has been enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families in San Mateo County through programs designed to help them live as independently as possible and enjoy all that life has to offer.

Our philosophy is that all people have the same value and the same human rights, and PARCA is committed to creating opportunities for people of all ages with developmental disabilities to experience choice, control and individuality in every area of their lives.

PARCA provides support to our clients at all stages of their lives–from child-care to helping them master self-reliance and independence in adulthood–thus boosting their chances of leading satisfying, comfortable, safe, dignified, healthy and happy lives. Parents receive support and advocacy services and information from the moment they learn they're going to have a baby with disabilities.
