Parish Resource Center

Parish Resource Center (PRC) has worked for almost 50 years to help nonprofits and faith communities in Lancaster County better utilize their resources and fulfill their missions. Last year, we:

• provided food for 29,827 meals
• organized 156 volunteers who donated 1,644 hours
• offered 26 workshops to 449 individual registrants
• trained 7 staff and volunteers to become Accredited Immigration Legal Representatives
• distributed 172 baby kits to low-income new moms, containing critical but expensive items to best care for their new baby

In the next year, we are excited about:

• Providing pro bono immigration legal services
• Expanding our support to churches and small nonprofits by providing bookkeeping, grant writing, and other much needed services
• Serving Community Meals in Lancaster City and meeting the growing demand as hunger increases in our community
• Partnering with Penn Medicine and Union Community Care to provide Take Home Totes, tote bags of shelf-stable food so patients without adequate food can receive help immediately
