The Park Community Development Corporation

The mission of The Park Community Development Corporation (The Park CDC) is "to create sustainable change within marginalized communities by investing in solutions to affordable housing, healthy living, and economic mobility." The organization strives to provide information, resources, and tools to advance equity around these three foundational pillars within the West Charlotte community.

The programs offered by The Park CDC are designed to empower those in need by working with and not for the community to address challenges faced by residents and then respond with an informed and collaborative approach working alongside community members to improve outcomes. Strategies and solutions are devised based on qualitative feedback shared by vulnerable populations being served. Residents are given the opportunity to voice their opinions on the most promising solutions to enhance health and wellness and build self-sufficiency within the neighborhoods served.
