Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré is a volunteer organization based in New Orleans. We are dedicated to the preservation and beautification of New Orleans' historic French Quarter. The organization also makes annual contributions to various organizations, courtyards, and gardens to support the preservation and beautification of the French Quarter and has sponsored Caroling in Jackson Square, a beloved holiday tradition, and free public event since its inception in 1946. In recent years, Caroling in Jackson Square has been streamed world-wide and is video and re-played numerous times on WLAE throughout the holiday season.

Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré was formed by French Quarter residents in 1946 as a garden club, focused on sharing new plants. The organization meets monthly and has expert guest speakers, such as the Bromeliad President or the Parish County Agent. We offer a Spring Garden tour of French Quarter patios and also a Holiday Home Tour of French Quarter residence holiday decorations.
