Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats

Founded in October 2017, Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats is a non-profit organization in Alexandria, Virginia. Our organization employs persons with developmental and physical disabilities and takes pride in providing meaningful work while celebrating each person’s unique gifts, talents, and abilities.

We are a team-focused business that brings together employees and volunteers to support daily operations of producing dog treats. Being a part of the Pawfectly Delicious team empowers employees to be successful in their work and in turn, promotes a greater sense of purpose both on the job and within their community.

Bryan Tuccillo and his mother Anne founded Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats. Bryan has Mitochondrial Disease, a degenerative neurological condition. The two of them began to bake dog treats out of their home soon after Bryan aged out of special education services within his school district and struggled to find meaningful employment. The two teamed up to create a non-profit concept of providing employment opportunity to young adults while contributing back to the community.

When the team began baking treats out of a local church kitchen, four disabled young adults volunteered their time to bake, package and sell the most delicious all-natural ginger dog treats. After lots of hard work, generous support from the community and a steady revenue stream, Pawfectly Delicious now provides paid employment to eleven adults with disabilities within the Alexandria community.
