The Payette County Museum is located at the corner of N 9th Street and 1st Avenue S, in Payette, Idaho. The Museum is managed by the Payette County Historical Society (PCHS) and manned by community volunteers and a dedicated museum coordinator. The towns of Payette, New Plymouth & Fruitland, Idaho are represented in its collections.

The Museum holds a host of photographs, renderings and artifacts associated with Payette County's history and the history of its residents. The Museum Coordinator also regularly helps individuals locally and long distance with family research associated with Payette County.

Admission is always free to the Payette County Museum. Hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday, Noon to 4:00 pm. The Museum can also be reserved for special events as well as private showings.

To maintain these historic treasures, the Payette County Historical Society operates with some designated County and Payette City funds. Individual donations are also accepted. These funds alone are currently not enough to cover the minimal annual operating costs of the Payette County Museum.

Your donation would be used to continue providing the Payette County Museum with the funds to preserve and maintain Payette County's historical artifacts.
