Pear Theatre

The Pear was created in June 2002 by a group of theatre artists who believe that Peninsula audiences are eager for plays that will challenge them, as well as delight and move them-- intimate, startling, and innovative productions that prove you can work wonders, as long as your spirit is willing and your imagination wide.

Newly-named Pear Theatre moved into a new theatre space in August 2015, located at 1110 La Avenida, Mountain View-- just a few blocks from the old theatre. It's a significantly larger venue that still allows for the intimate theatre experience our audiences love, but also provides more opportunity for different stagings and program growth. - See special donations amounts below for becoming a permanent part of the Pear Theatre space-- options include lobby tiles with your name on them, plaques on the backs of theatre chairs, or even naming one of the new rooms in the theatre.
