PRCSPCA is a small, rural animal shelter located in Picayune, Mississippi.  We service over 3500 animals a year.  This year we are on track to be nationally recognized a no- kill shelter on our dog side which means a 90% or more live release rate.  Unfortunately, we are still struggling on the cat side, but have been making enormous strides in getting our numbers up.   All of our cats and dogs leave the shelter fully vetted.  This includes up to date age appropriate shot, spaying or neutering, and microchip.  Animals needing special medical care are taken to a participating vet for care no matter how big or small the condition may be.  This can get quite expensive and we do fundraising events that may sponsor an animal in need.    Much of our operating budget comes from grants and private donations.  We cannot do what we do without YOUR support.  Please, won't you consider donating to help save lives?  Any amount is appreciated!  If you cannot donate today, consider fostering or volunteering.  We thank you for your support.  We have a great community that is on the spot with our cries for help.  Again, we cannot do it without YOU!
