Goal: 100,000 people donate a minimum of $10 and we will package and share our model for free!  Together we are better!

For the past 20 yrs, Peer Solutions has been government funded. Unexpectedly, no mas. We have since learned most nonprofits are 75% funded by individual donations. We are in need of GAP funding NOW as we rediversify our funding.

We need 200K by August 31, 2015.  We can do this!

National evaluation experts have confirmed the positive long term impact Peer Solutions has had on families, schools and communities.

STAND & SERVE (S&S) trains youth to work with other youth, families and communities to develop and lead activities to prevent the root causes of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) before they begin through:

• Weekly lunch meetings, afterschool and summer peer education projects,
• Monthly coalition meetings and outreach campaigns,
• S&S Days at the Capitol, service projects,  murals, gardens, workshops and
• The Guts to be Good (G2BG) initiative. Five things everyone, everywhere, every day can do to make the world a better place:

 In 2014, we served 14,524 youth and 2,418 adults supported by 38 schools and 43 community and funding partners. 

 

2015 results from evaluation experts Banyard, PhD and her team at the University of New Hampshire confirm 2X years of:

• Creating safe places,
• Cultivating volunteerism,
• Providing leadership opportunities,
• Helping youth navigate tough times,
• Building empathy & healthy relationships,
• Improving self-esteem & school performance.

2015 Highlights:

• 100% graduated HS & 96% improved grades,

• 91% reported speaking up more for themselves & others,

Our students are ambassadors of change. They model positive behaviors while fostering  healthy families, relationships and communities today and tomorrow.

ARIZONA CHILDREN IN CRISIS

According to 2014 Kids Count Data, Arizona has ranked in the lowest 5 states for the overall well-being of children for the past three years. Our kids are afflicted with a multitude of abuses, leading to higher risk for:

• Bullying/Harassment
• Criminal Activity
• Depression/Suicide/Self-Harm
• Domestic/Sexual/Relationship/ Gang and Gun Violence
• Poor School Performance
• Poverty/Homelessness
• Substance Abuse

Prevention is the cost-effective cure.
