$10,892 raised by 95 donors

Healthy seniors. Helping them stay happy and living well in their own homes and community. Letting them know that someone does care. That’s what we do at Peninsula Volunteers.  You can help us. Your donation gives a meal to the grandmother living in a one bedroom apartment raising her grandchildren. Then there’s the retired police officer, 85, suffering from Alzheimer’s who finds joy when he is reconnected with the music of his youth. Remember also, the older adults living alone who have found a reason to leave the house every day.

What if these were your grandparents, your parents, your spouse or even your brother or sister? Thanks to Peninsula Volunteers hunger is preventable, people with Alzheimer’s can live happy lives, and older adults who might be isolated from family can spend the day enjoying activities with friends.

Peninsula Volunteers serve all communities in San Mateo and northern Santa Clara counties with the Rosener House Adult Day Services Program, Meals on Wheels (all cities in southern San Mateo County) and the Little House-Roslyn Morris Adult Activity Center. All program and services that keep our older adults healthy and living lives with vitality.

Note from a senior: “Your service has been a blessing and life saver to so many of us.  Not only do you make it possible, but also with such efficiency and care...I feel I have not been forgotten.”  Janet Mullkin

Help us keep them living at home safely, and give them security in knowing that people still care about them. Please donate today and support the people who built our community.
