Peninsula Youth Theatre

Study after study shows the value of performing arts education in promoting critical thinking skills and empathy.  Peninsula Youth Theatre (PYT) helps provide classes missing from too many of our schools by providing a broad range of classes, camps and shows:

PRODUCTIONS...professional quality productions performed by and for young people as one of two home companies at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.

CLASSES...drama, dance and voice instruction at our Mountain View studio for ages 3.5 - 18.

CAMPS...Fabulous camps including "Theater in the Park," two week sessions where campers make their own sets, props and costumes and perform for the public in local parks from Hillsborough to Saratoga

SCHOOL PLAYS...providing on-site school plays at public and private schools across Silicon Valley, where children on the free-lunch program can participate free of charge

OUTREACH...performances at public events to help ensure that all children can enjoy live theater
