People Making Progress

People Making Progress enhances the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and helps them prepare for the future.  Our mission is to provide quality services so that adults with developmental disabilities may live, work and thrive in the community to their fullest potential.  Our work is centered on the individual and the provision of quality services that best support each person.

Here are some of the areas we work in, and what your contribution could help achieve this year:

Supported Employment

Your donation helps people with developmental disabilities find jobs, and receive the individualized ongoing support, skills training, and onsite coaching needed to succeed in a position for the long term.

Community Living Support

Your donation helps fund wider access to activities, classes, and trainings that are of interest to each individual. Whether competing in athletic events, or learning topics such as sign language, nutrition, and music, donations make it possible to do more.

Community Access

Your donation helps people with developmental disabilities participate in and contribute to their local community. PMP participants provide thousands of hours of volunteer service to Atlanta-area nonprofits annually, and been recognized with awards both locally and nationally.
