PerspectAbility Inc

PerspectAbility Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization formed by a group of parents whose children are neurodivergent. After researching local resources for neurodivergent adults, we determined the options available don’t fit our children’s needs or offer the quality of life we desire for our children. We are advocates for our children and firm believers in research-based strategies, data collection, communication, and accountability to ensure programming is effective and appropriate for the individual receiving it. 

The original founders of PerspectAbility spent over two years learning about the benefits and considerations of the wide variety of support options and housing models that exist and are emerging. They spent time touring residential options locally and nationally, attended conferences, participated in think tanks, and sought advice from pioneering leaders in the field.

Empowered by the knowledge gathered, as well as ongoing research, PerspectAbility is changing outcomes and raising the bar on dreams and expectations for the neurodiverse population.

The first phase of our mission began in the Spring of 2021 when we opened Northwest Arkansas' very first you-pick tulip farm - True Colors Farm by PerspectAbility. The tulip farm is a regional attraction for the NWA community that provides an opportunity to employ neurodivergent adults and to educate the public about our cause. We can't wait to welcome you to the farm once the tulips are blooming in April 2022.

The second phase of our mission includes opening a Transition Academy. The academy would use data-driven curriculum designed to help those with neurodiversities transition into an independent adult life. 

The final phase of our mission includes building an inclusive neighborhood where residents have access to supportive services to maximize their independent living. 

We are committed to partnering with the Northwest Arkansas community to ensure it does not miss out on the important talents and contributions of its neurodivergent citizens; and to ensure Northwest Arkansas’ neurodivergent adults are included and thriving in all places and spaces within their community.
