PFNCA improves the quality of life for people living with Parkinson disease, their care partners and families living in MD, VA and DC through: support and education programs, exercise programs and public awareness.

We serve more than 900 people each month and provide programs at no cost for people impacted by Parkinson's.  More than 250 wellness programs are offered month focusing on movement (including dance, exercise, yoga and Tai Chi) and strengthening vocal cords (including communication clubs and choir).

PFNCA also provides assistance to more than 40 support groups that meet at least once a month.  Programs are held all throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  One patient recently shared that attending PFNCA programs “helps those with Parkinson’s disease take control of their lives.”

Please support our efforts today by making a tax-deductible contribution.  Donations can also be mailed to Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, 8830 Cameron St. #201, Silver Spring, MD 20910
