p.h. balanced films is creating a world in which important stories are told by the communities that know them best in order to promote justice and equality for all.

In late October 2017, we debuted new programming for women to use filmmaking and storytelling as platforms to advocate for social justice. We launched in Nepal - and are now planning for 2018 and beyond.

We're well into the 21st Century, yet in much of the world, women's voices are not being heard - and public policy often fails because of it. Women have valuable stories to tell from a unique perspective that, if accounted for, would further societies worldwide. The stifling of relevant voices yields uninformed policies that, even if well-intentioned, fail to reach their full potential for communities they are meant to serve.

Our knowledge exchange workshops are designed specifically for women who want to utilize filmmaking and storytelling as platforms to advocate for social change. Our holistic approach ensures smart storytelling, social justice and advocacy strategy from beginning to end. Our international mentorship program provides ongoing support to our graduates as they bring stories to the right audiences to inform policy and maximize positive impact.

While policy can change in the stroke of a pen, the process of winning political support can take decades. While video can be shot and uploaded in minutes, creating effective film and a strategy to influence social change can take years. Our curriculum and mentorship programming is designed for the long term. We are amplifying more women's voices to, in turn, amplify community stories and inform policy in every country in which we operate.
