Phoenix Pride Community Foundation

Phoenix Pride is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that unites, educates, and engages people to support and empower the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. Not only do we produce the 2 largest LGBTQ+ cultural events in the state of Arizona, but we also continue to develop our community programs to raise public awareness about the LGBTQ+ community in an effort to eliminate homophobia, transphobia, and discrimination; and empower our community through the Phoenix Pride Community Foundation. 

The Phoenix Pride Community Foundation awards significant life changing student scholarships to LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to help them attain their goal of a higher education and giving them a chance at a brighter future by providing a resource they need to stay in school and graduate. This year we are giving out $53,000 in scholarships bringing our total to $490,500. 

Also, through the Phoenix Pride Community Foundation, we advance opportunities in the form of Community Grants and Partnership Grants to the LGBTQ+ and allied Arizona nonprofit community to help these organizations achieve their missions to provide vital services, resources and programs specific to LGBTQ+ needs. On June 25th we will be awarding $65,000 in grants, bringing our total to $866,126.

We have awarded $1,356,000 since the inception of the Community Foundation in 2008.
