Piedmont Child Care Center Inc

Piedmont Child Care Center is an independent, non-profit school in Upperville, VA.  Since 1984, we have been dedicated to providing quality early childhood care and education for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.  

We believe that every child deserves access to a high quality early childhood program.  With this in mind, Piedmont offers a tuition assistance program thorough the John P. Levis Scholarship Fund, which is largely funded by donations from our community.  Three times each year, we award need-based scholarships to families struggling to pay tuition at PCCC. Many parents work a full time job, but are just not able to cover all of their living expenses, as well as child care costs. This program helps relieve some of that burden. Parents can continue working, knowing that their children are taken care of in a safe, educational environment.  There have been some years when almost 50% of our enrolled families have benefited from some assistance.    100% of your donation will go to the Levis Scholarship Fund.

About Us

We believe that early childhood is the most important period of human development, and we are committed to providing a safe, fun, educational place for children to spend their days.  Piedmont children learn academics, but they also learn so much more- how to share, how to respect others, how to play together.  They learn responsibility- whether that is keeping track of a hat and coat, or learning to clean up a spilled cup of milk.  They learn how to work together and be a part of a larger community.   Our children learn both in the classroom and outdoors-- they can often be found exploring our wooded nature trails, or planting and harvesting in our Roots & Shoots Garden, or even running, climbing, and biking on our playground.
