Pilarcitos Alternative High

Pilarcitos High School is an alternative program for students Grades 9-12 to focus on an individualized education plan with the final goal being attainment of a high school diploma. Some students attend Pilarcitos for a short time and then return to the comprehensive high school to graduate. Students at Pilarcitos are provided a complete high school curriculum. The school is staffed with an excellent and committed team of educators who provide the students with the support and resources they need to attain a high school diploma. A hallmark of Pilarcitos is the connections students make in the outside world. Many students maintain jobs and learn skills that will serve them when they graduate. Like other District schools, the environment is safe and students work collaboratively together in a respectful environment.
